Wakefield Estates
The Wakefield Estate collaborates with teachers and science specialists to "bring students out" for hour-long "zoom" field trips (ZFTs), using slideshows, pre-recorded pieces, and live videos that emphasize and expand upon the science they've been working on in their own zoom classrooms. Students are able to “visit” with the estate's llamas, sheep, rabbits, and chickens, providing a pick-me-up from routine screen experiences. ZFTs help bring the classroom to life and keep students incredibly engaged.
